Want the whole story of your event day captured? My equine event photography follows you and your horse throughout the day — from the quiet behind-the-scenes moments and getting ready, to every competition round and celebration in between.
Whether you’re competing in eventing, show jumping, dressage or other equestrian events, I travel to your venue and document the experience naturally, so you can focus on enjoying the day while every special moment is professionally captured.

My horse can’t be loose
Please don’t worry — your horse never needs to be loose to create stunning portraits.
During your horse photography session, safety is always my priority. Most horses are photographed calmly and safely in-hand using a discreet photo halter or lead rope, which can be carefully edited out afterwards for a clean, natural finish.
There’s often a little teamwork involved too, with an attention person helping capture those alert ears and beautiful expressions. While the behind-the-scenes setup may look a little different, the final result is a timeless equine portrait you’ll be proud to display.

Whether you choose an outdoor equine photography session or a striking black background portrait, both are treated with the same care and attention — there’s no need to choose one over the other.
Your equine portrait session includes:
• A relaxed horse photography session tailored to you and your horse
• Outdoor portraits or black background imagery (or a combination where suitable)
• Guidance on styling, turnout, outfits and session preparation
• Professional hand-editing and detailed retouching of your final images
• An online or in-person image viewing appointment to choose your favourites
• Access to high-resolution digital images and optional print or wall art upgradesA session retainer of £149 secures your booking date and portrait session and includes a £50 image credit to put towards your chosen images or artwork. Digital images, prints and artwork are purchased separately following your gallery viewing.
Sessions are available across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Dorset and surrounding areas. Travel is included within my coverage area — just get in touch if you’re further afield.
